DEBORAH CORRALES is a Brooklyn-based artist originally from Orange, CA. She has trained in ballet since the age of 7. She has also trained in Graham, Horton, Taylor, and Cunningham modern techniques, jazz, hip hop, tap, ballroom, and much more. She received her B.F.A. in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle, WA. Corrales has worked with artists from around the world including Anna Conner, Sarita Lou, Sandra Marin Garcia (Kidd Pivot), Ming Yang, Danielle Agami, Mark Haim, Camille A. Brown, John Jasperse, and more. Also interested in collaboration-based work, Corrales has integrated film, music, and design artists into many of her choreographed works. She is an artist and performer with skills to share her passion with students and artists alike. She is stoked to be working with Rachel and CEMA dance!

JANE CRACOVANER, a New Jersey native, began her dance training as a teenager before choosing to attend the Hartt School to study dance performance.  Jane has performed in works by Martha Graham, Jose Limon, George Balanchine, Gregory Dolbashian, Loni Landon and Katie Stevinson-Nollet, as well as in various dance for camera works.  Jane has also recently taken part in the HJS Intensive in Amsterdam (NL), ImPulsTanz 2013 in Vienna,  Northwest Dance Project’s Launch 7 and has studied as a scholarship student during the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance’s summer program. In May 2013 Jane graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance and a minor in Communications.

KAYLA FARRISH was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina into a dance loving family. Local dance studios and school programs inspired her to begin choreographing early in her training, allowing her to find a creative voice at a young age. Kayla graduated from the University of Arizona in 2013 summa cum laude. She was also granted the Gertrude Shurr Award for excellence in modern dance and passionate dancing. During her time there she had the opportunity to perform works by Martha Graham, Larry Keigwin, Amy Ernst, Douglas Nielsen, Sam Watson, and others. Since moving to New York, she has had the opportunity to work with wonderful choreographers including Elena Vazintaris, Lane Gifford of LaneCo Arts, Jessica Taylor of Damagedance, Steve Vaughn of 13 Main Movement, Emily Schoen, Matthew Westerby Dance Company, Gallim Dance, BODYART, and Bare Dance Company. She is excited to be working with CEMA dance!

While KYLE FILLEY is often engaged in movement practices, his quieter amusements involve a conglomeration of sculpture, collage, pastels, and portraits of the homeless in pen. He has had the privilege to perform in multiple works by Pamela Pietro and was chosen to perform in SONS+DAUGHTERS by Shannon Gillen, "Two-way Towards" by Cora Bos-Kroese, and the Cunningham MinEvent by Rashaun Mitchell. Kyle has studied under Stephen Petronio, David Dorfman,Christina Robson, Gus Solomons, Phyllis Lamhut, and most recently Joanna Kotze, Netta Yerulshamy, Jen Rosenblith,Stuart Singer, Martin Kilvady & Christine Gouzelis (SEAD). Earlier this year, under the direction of Kay Cummings, he collaborated with a team of designers and choreographers to premiere "the [living] room", a production piece with original costumes, lighting, music, and set design. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology through NYU’s College of Arts and Sciences. Kyle participated in SEAD’s third year students’ summer session 2014 and is currently training in his final semester at Tisch School of the Arts. He sends all his love and gratitude to his family in California. 

HANNAH SEIDEN is from Lafayette, CO where she trained in many styles including ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, tap, and hip-hop. She has had the opportunity to work with a range of renowned artists such as Billy Bell, Sonya Tayeh, Travis Wall, Stacey Tookey, Jason Parsons and many others. In May 2015, Hannah graduated with honors with a BFA from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, where she performed pieces by Merce Cunningham (set by Rashaun Mitchell), Shannon Gillen, Cora Bos-Kroeuse, Pamela Pietro, and various student works. She's also had the opportunity to work with Gus Solomons Jr., Sean Curran, Phyllis Lamhut, Cherylyn Lavagnino and more. Hannah has danced on film, stage, and public spaces all over the country and has studied in Prague and Italy. In 2014, she got full classical Pilates mat certified. Hannah is so excited to be in New Orleans with CEMA!

KOLIANE ROCHON PROM TEP is originally from Montreal, Canada. After being a gymnast for five years, she started a rigorous dance intensive at The Ballet Divertimento School in Montreal. To continue her education, Koliane relocated to New York City in order to complete a two-year professional certificate program at Peridance Capezio Center. Koliane has worked with artists such as Milton Myers, Richard Chen See, Tymberly Canale, Marlena Wolfe, Jesse Zaritt, and Manuel Vignoulle, to name a few. She has also performed works by Enzo Celli, Bryan Arias, Igal Perry and Robert Battle. Through her education, Koliane has developed and refined her artistic identity in order to create her own unique style of contemporary dance. Koliane has also previously worked with a variety of other artists through the collaboration of dance and film. Koliane is currently working with Katherine Maxwell, Elena Vazintaris and CEMA dance.

TARA LYNCH, an Ohio native, began her training at South Dayton School of Dance.  She continued her training during the summers by participating in the Movement Invention Project, Bolshoi Ballet, and The Juilliard School.  Tara graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Dance Performance and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies well as a yoga teaching certification from the Perri Institute for Mind and Body.  She has had the joy of performing works of Nathan Trice, Pamela Pietro, Jonathan Campbell, Shannon Brahman, Daniel Marshall, and many talented peers at Tisch.  She is currently teaching yoga, practicing Reiki, and Choreographing in the New York area.  She is excited to join the beautiful artists of CEMA dance.

RAVEN JELKS, is a choreographer, dancer, and teacher born and raised in New York.  Raven received her BFA in Dance from Adelphi University, with a minor in Photography.  Right after graduation Raven joined Garth Fagan Dance, dancing with the Company at the Joyce Theater, the Rochester Fringe Festival, as well as many other in-studio shows.  Raven has performed works by Martha Graham, Jose Limon, Robert Battle, Alvin Ailey, Nathan Trice, Doug Varone,  Paul Taylor, Jennifer Archibald, and has interned with Urban Bush Women and Nathan Trice/Rituals.  Raven is the Artistic Director & Choreographer of Dirty Soles Dance.  Raven is excited to be joining Rachel and CEMA dance!

ELIZABETH HEPP, a Massachusetts native, trained at the Boston Ballet School and later at Ballet Arts Worcester. In May 2013 Elizabeth graduated from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University with a BFA in Dance Performance. While at Tisch, Elizabeth had the opportunity to perform pieces by Mark Morris and worked with choreographers including Andrea Miller, Dana Katz, Suzanne Bearhs, Cherylyn Lavagnino, David Dorfman, and Kate Weare. Elizabeth also studied gaga at the Batsheva Dance Intensive in Tel Aviv, performed work by Adele Myers at American Dance Festival, and worked as an Arts Administration Intern for Abraham/In/Motion and The Playground (NYC). Elizabeth currently dances with Carol Mendes & Artists and interns for BalletNext. Elizabeth is excited to continue working with Rachel through CEMA dance.

CATHERINE ELLIS KIRK is originally from Dallas, Texas. She received her B.F.A from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and has received her yoga certification through Mind Body Dancer. Catherine has performed works by Nathan Trice, Larry Keigwin, Robert Battle, Alex Ketley, Andrea Miller, and Ohad Naharin. Since then she has had the pleasure of working with Chuck Wilt's Una-Projects, Sidra Bell Dance New York, Katherine Moore, Chihiro Shimizu and Artists, Danaka Dance, Kyle Abraham’s Abraham in Motion, and is excited to continue with Rachel Hagan’s CEMA dance.

KYLEIGH SACKANDY is originally from Maryland and is a graduate of SUNY Purchase College- Conservatory of Dance, Cum Laude. Now living in Brooklyn, NY, she teaches dance to children in the New York area and performs with local choreographers. Kyleigh is currently a member of Ariel Rivka Dance Company and has performed with SYREN Modern Dance, NuDance Theater, Kat Galasso, Eli Tamondong, Indah Boyle, and others. She has also performed internationally in Japan, Spain, Taiwan, and Canada.  As well as teaching in New York, Kyleigh has been a guest teacher in Maryland, California, Japan, and Taiwan. She had the opportunity to teach and choreograph for the Howard Community College Dance Department in Maryland and Setsuko Kawaguchi Ballet School in Japan. In Taiwan, she was a guest teacher at the Taipei American School. Her teaching and choreography has been used at a competitive level at national dance competitions. This is Kyleigh's first project with Rachel and she is very excited to be a part of her creative process!

DANIEL MONT-ETON is originally from Colorado and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in modern dance from the University of Utah. While attending college Daniel had the opportunity to perform works by Eric Handman, Kendra Portier, Marina Mascarell, Paul Selwyn Norton, Tandy Beal, Abby Fiat, Nicholas Leichter, Stevan Novakovich, I-Fen Lin, Monica Campbell, Satu Hummasti, and Juan Carlos Cladio. Daniel taught for a year in Colorado while being able to teach and choreograph at several residencies in Montana and Idaho. Since moving to New York, Daniel has had the pleasure to intern for Chez Bushwick's Development Team and dance with Sans Limites Dance company in New York and Nimbus Dance Works in New Jersey. Daniel is excited to join CEMA dance.
